The owners moved to Bandera in December of 2021 after losing their son to birth complications earlier that year. Pregnant with their second child shortly after moving, they settled in at the cowboy church and began to dive deeper in their faith. The "theme" at church for 2022 was stepping out of your comfort zone and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ every chance you had. But Allie, now a stay at home mom, never had opportunities just sitting at home. And so began the idea of the hat shop. Where they could share their testimony, love on the locals and tourists, and share the gospel. Allie and Luke wanted the hat shop to feel like home to those who stopped in. Over the last few years of being open, the testimonies shared across the hat bar have been life changing and inspiring, many new friendships formed, and faith deepened. Now Allie has her hands full with two baby girls at home, but you'll catch the whole family at the shop from time to time. But Tio Lou is up there, helping shape hats and share his own testimony.
